Back to Business

So today I went to my 41 Brewer game of 2007, 40th at Miller Park. The pregame ceremonies included practicing watching the 40th Brewer game with headphones the day before (honestly, I'm not really worried if I miss a Badger game), sacrificing a pizza to the football gods Saturday night, discussing various portable tv purchases with TC at 9:30am, calling TC back at 9:31am stating that we are definitely wearing headphones to drown out the Packer score, and then finally walking up to Miller park with headphones on to avoid hearing any of the Packer game on the walk in.

During the game, we had to endure 3 tv's tuned to the Packer game in front of us, the women behind us questioning our headphones and pretty much the overall strategy, the random fan cheering of a ball 3 to Weeks around 3pm, and then a nervous walk back to the car with a game time decision to get a pizza at a gas station to avoid the risk of finding out the score. All and all, we got back and watched the taped Packer game with some idea of what happened, but unsure of the score or outcome. What's better: 421 TD's or 4-0 start? I tell you what, 422TD's and a 4-0 start.

Tim, put a link to the Favre TD database (http://data.jsonline.com/sports/favre/). Also, podcast. Never understood it until today. You can listen to the Doug and OB without the commercials (http://www.670thescore.com/The-Jiffy-Lube-Post-Game-Show/923116). I just listened to the 9/24 broadcast in its entirety, and last 10 minutes is OB's tribute to Brett Favre (its awesome, I highly recommend it).

Oh yeah, the Brewers won too.
