Craig Counsell???

NO, NO, NO

This did not just happen again.

I just don't like it, I just don't like .250 hitters being paid 6mil for 2 seasons. I just don't like it.

This is different than the first time we had Counsell. Clearly, playoffs and World Series's are now won by guys like David Eckstein, Scott Podsednik, Dave Roberts and Counsell.

Yikes, he's probably promised starts on Sunday.

At least this makes Hall tradeable. Then we can be talking about nightmares.

I don't get it

What's not to get?
1. Already stated, you win world series with eckstein and counsell type guys, proven fact.
2. Yount's gone, need another home-grown wisconsin guy around after they just demoted Miller.
3. Hardy is drunk half the time. The other half he's hurt.
4. This clearly counters the Cubs signing Soriano and probably Jason Schmidt.

Woah, woah, woah. Yount is not technicially from Wisconsin, he just played for the Brewers. Counsel may be from Wisconsin, but he is from the North Shore suburbs and he is a gun for hire (kind of guy who would have moved to Chicago had he not been in baseball). So lets not compate them. Compare Yount only to say, Brett Favre. Miller is our true Wisconsin guy, even though he almost from Minnesota. I think it sucks and we better not have Gaffino on the team now since he is just a younger Counsel. Hall is the new Left Fielder, guaranteed.

No need to get defensive about one of my points, everything else I said was sarcastic. So, it's a safe bet, that point was too.

Do not guarantee Hall in Left. Watch out for Shannon Stewart.

Don't take it personnal, I was also being sarcastic.

Also, I heard back from Rotz. As previously stated, he currently cannot contribute.

Where is this Shannon Stewert stuff coming from? Was that annouced today?
