Two Tickets to Paradise?

This past weeks American League games held in Milwaukee between the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim vs. the Cleveland Indians of Milwaukee was quite a success. Having attended the game on Wednesday, April 11th I was able to witness numerous references to the movie Major League and contests about Cleveland Indians players I knew nothing about. If you were unable to attend the game, it is too bad because I do not think I will ever be able to get seat that close to any major sporting event ever again for only $10. As you can see we were able to get at least one ball from our great $10 seats. This was the second American League game I saw in 2007, as on Friday, April 6th I was in New York to watch the Yankees take on the Baltimore Orioles. Having now travelled to see games in both Boston and New York in my life, I must say that Red Sox games are way more entertaining, primarily due to the fact they are real fans and don't boo at everything that does not go there way. One of the things I realized from my week of watching Amercian League baseball was how much I miss this and it brings me back to my youth. I started thinking about it more and I think we all should consider trying to watch the Brewers in 2008 play at an American League ballpark. What are you thoughts?

I think it's a good idea.

I love road trips. I drove by Camden Yards this weekend it was cool from the outside.

I had a thought while in DC (i'm sure not original) It's interesting how Redskin fans in Baltimore had to decide if they should be Raven fans recently (about 10 years ago) and then Oriole fans in DC had to decide if they should be National fans recently (2 years ago) the symmetry is interesting to me.

Crappy job keeping the blog up lately, except by Egan.

So is it Texas on the 9th or Minnesota on the 16th? I would prefer to see the Rangers, but to be honest I don't even know which city they are in (I would guess Dallas/Fort Worth, then Austin). I do know that they used to be in Washington DC and were called the Senators, which I assume is the fan base that the Nationals were after.

So I guess the only plan I can think of is to drive to Madison Friday night June 15th, watch the game, and then drive to Minnesota on Saturday. Not sure if we stay there or come back though.

Egan, are you in for the Cubs on July 1st ($90 for ticket, ride, and beer on the bus via Kellys)?

Tim, call me after work on Wednesday regarding Friday's game. And sorry about the lack of posts by yours truly, but I had a computer crash and a run of bad days, so I did not have much on mind that was worthy of a post.

Current Brewers MVP order - Weeks, Fielder, Jenkins, Cordero, then Estrada. Fielder is only second due to some bad plays at First.
