Don't get me wrong, I love the ball and glove logo and the old uniforms, but the Brewers need to drop the retro uniforms asap! This year, they are 0-2 already, with an overall record of 6-9 going back to last year since they brought back uniforms back. This is significant since they were 48-33 at home in 2006 overall and 42-26 in the regular uniforms. It just looks like the guys aren't used to them, probably since the are modeled after the loser Cubs home uniform.
And after this season, they have got to drop the 1982 season for at least for 25 years. This stuff is getting out of hand. I like the guys that played when I was growing up, but the team has got to start focusing on the current group of guys (excluding players that wear #41, he needs no focus).
Speaking of #41, yes, he is finally in the minors and it appears that Jose Capellan has returned to the minor league team (he pitched Friday). I would like to see the Brewers and him reconcile, so he can get back to the majors so he can get traded along with #41 for a solid relief pitcher (what ever happened to Ray King, is he still around?) Honestly, has an inherited runner not scored on our bullpen?

We just extended our division lead, I'm pretty pumped.
Inherited Runners(Scored)
Shouse 13 (0)
Cordero 2 (2)
Dessens 3 (3)
Aquino 6 (5)
Wise 5 (3)
Villanueva 3 (3)
We appear to only have one rally killer on the team. Shouse is doing an amazing job so far entering the game with runners on base. (Turnbow is still fragile so he hasn't been given an opportunity yet)
It's not an original thought by me, but I'd be behind the retro logo and style with the new colors. We couldn't do any worse with them.
