- Tuesday, April 3, 2007: Tennessee beats Rutgers to win their first national championship in nine years.
- Wednesday, April 4, 2007: WNBA conducts their annual college player draft.
Can you imagine what would happen if men's basketball moved this fast, without the series of pre-draft workout camps and rookie season basketball games? Now, if only we can change the NBA playoff structure to closer resemble the WNBA playoff structure where the longest series goes only five games.

And isn't amazing that the Duke girl that missed two free throws that decided the game was player of the year and first pick in the draft.
