R13

"I wanted to dump it to someone, that's what the play's designed to do," Favre said. "I think (running less often) is two things. I don't trust my legs as much. I know I can and occasionally when I do run people say, 'You still can run, you need to do more of that.' But it's much easier to go to Donald Driver on a two-yard pass, and he makes eight guys miss and gets five more (yards), I don't think I'm going to do that. I feel confident I can buy enough time and someone will get open, especially when you're down there on the 1, it's easy to just pop a guy real quick. I kind of got to my last option and knew I only needed a yard."

After the score, Favre executed what he said was his first Lambeau Leap.

"I don't think I've ever done one, but I hope that's the last one," Favre said. "Donald (Driver) provoked me. I was actually coming off the field and he was kind of one of these in my way and 'Oh, no, you're going.' I wish he had given me a boost. I'm going to catch heat for this until the next game, but I should have found a lower spot. I'm not real savvy in the stands-jumping department, not to mention that I was pooped."
