After tonight's big win in which Hardy and Prince both went yard, I wanted to replay some of the highlights of the season on the blog and to have this picture on the blog. One of the best plays of the year and definitely should be on the season highlight reel. I mean C'mon, baseball is a man's game, so I have no problem with Prince cussing these guys out. Fielder charged toward the plate as Nate McLouth's throw zipped toward catcher Ryan Doumit.
At the last instant, Doumit moved a foot toward the ball, and Fielder slid around the tag to score.
He immediately got to his feet and shouted toward Capps, who hit Fielder with an up-and-in pitch Saturday night.
"I didn't say anything," Fielder said, although replays showed he did -- and it wasn't "Thank you, Matt Capps!"
"I heard him," Capps said. "[Sure], he wants to talk about [Saturday night yesterday]."
"Pretty bush league," Doumit said of Fielder's reaction to scoring the run. "There's no room for that. To do that was bush league, in my opinion."

This is probably highlight of the season, and so far my MVP. Hardy is the easy choice and CoCo probably second. But seriously all of JJ's homeruns and defensive gems look the same. 2 guys on, line drive over the left field wall, or dive over the middle throw out the runner by a step. Mix it up a little JJ! I want a homerun off the scoreboard or an unassited triple play.
My other highlights of the season would be...
1) extra inning game against Cubs.
2) opening day win.
3) 9-1 homestand.
4) TG Jr, dominating Mets.
5) Jenkins resurgence
6) Mench being adequate.
