After hearing all this nonsense about Favre requesting a trade, I honestly think if he saw my draft post below, he would at least smile and think to himself, "he sure is." As a matter of fact, in the heat of passion, I may have also requested a trade (of course I did not mean it). It sounds like Brett had the same initial reaction to the draft that I had.

Fitting to comeback with the Favre post, the day after the Brewers season is all but over. (jinx) Turnbow is back to his old self (reverse jinx) How many games is Yost going to cost us this year? (double reverse jinx) The Cubs or Astros are going to catch the Brewers by the end of the week (reversed reverse jinx)
Turning this into a major story is weak at best. It's actually only slightly bigger than him riding his lawnmower news (next week) Him hitting a hole-in-one and contemplating Senior PGA (next month) Him stating that this is the best group of young players he's played around (3 months) in traning camp.
I'm glad he speaks his mind, should he have kept it inside and lied? Maybe, that's what would have been PC, but people that do that everyone considers hollow and see right through it. The media people going to question his leadership, but are his teammates? Even if they do, are they going to play worse because of that?
Brewers: I have been trying to ignore the last three games in the hopes that they would go away. We still lost the last two games, but it does not help that Turnbow throws strikes that are called balls (and then lobs it over the middle of the plate). And why is Gywnn in the 7 hole with no one to drive him in (on base 3 times, no runs, thanks Counsel)?
