What do you do?

Just when you get excited about baseball...

this morning's journal-sentinel

Jenkins made it clear Tuesday that he'd rather move on to another club than face any significant reduction in playing time with the Brewers in 2007.
"I've got to go (if not playing regularly). I need to go. They owe me that, as much as I've done for the organization, to at least put me in a situation where I get a chance to play," said Jenkins, who took part in his first workout of the spring.

If I had a chance to discuss this comment with Geoff, or should I say Jeff, it would likely include this:

"Just after I state I hope you come back strong, you says this crap? You are nationally recognized as one of the most overpaid players in the league, and yet you are pissed because you don't feel you have to earn your right to play. Please provide me a list of "as much" and reconcile that back to you effen contract. You do not deserve to resemble Brett Favre, you don't even deserve to have you name mentioned in this thought with him. I hate... so much about the things that you choose to be."

Mench basically said the same thing yesterday and it's been his stance all along. Let them both bitch and either trade them both or bench them and use Brady/Gross combo in left field.

On the other hand if you interview any reliever many would probably prefer to be a starter so you could spin it anyway you want if your the reporter.
