That Office was unbelievable last night, I watched it twice. I could not stop laughing about Toby and the robe, and it wasn't even that funny (plus it was Toby). We need to get group robes, only get four, and then take Egan's. Plus when Micheal marked that chicks arm.

I never watched Arrested Development or South Park, but I trust your judgment. Also, although short-lived, Chappelle Show should be on the list as Seasons 1 and 2 were awesome (Season 3 lost episodes not so great). All I need for examples are the Charlie Murphy Hollywood stories and the Wayne Brady car ride.

Adding Chappelle Show is debatable, it's funny, but it's a sketch show. It should be held to a different standard. At this point, I'd say thumbs down, but with some reservation to change my opiinion.

Cheers?.

I can see your point on the sketch, but I thought since you were adding comedy central to the mix with South Park, I would give it a shot. Personally, I find more humor in one episode of the Chappelle show than I do in every South Park I have ever seen.

I like Cheers, and I also like Friends. I think the funny seasons outweigh the non funny seasons (for both) and both should be on the list. No spin offs though.

In that case, I'd be more inclined to take South Park off the list than add Chappelle Show.

I never liked South Park until this year anyway.

Cheers and Friends are on the outside looking in right now. Cosby Show would be in the same place, probably too many lessons taught in that show though. That funny season over non-funny seasons argument doesn't sway me. Not saying it's illogical, just not enough yet.

I am also proposing that these shows are the only shows that get discussed on the blog. At least until a "shows that are serious, but good" thread/label is started. Hint: 24

It sounds like we have consensus, South Park is out and Chappelle Show is not in. Cheers and Friends still need work and therefore are not in. If Cheers is not in, Cosby is automatically not in, so not worth discussing.

The non-Woody seasons are not enough for me to specifically exclude Cheers in, but the Woody seasons are not enough to list them with the others. With that, Cheers is still outside. Since Friends is currently not on, its not really subject to discussion unless a parallel exists on a listed show, I will defer the debate to a later time.

I agree, we only discuss these shows. I still have not seen any of Curb Season 6 and I will let you know when we can discuss that.
