First off, thanks for changing the background Tim. And since I'm on that topic, I would at least like to post one item from my planned comment on the "How Sweet" post that never was, which I guess is still relevant: Kam Taylor is to UW Badgers as John Starks was to NY Knicks.
Anyway, now that we are done with that subject, I guess we need to decide what to focus on next. Egan has already kick started us with Packer posts (gripes) and the draft is coming up (nothing in free agency to speak off). We have all dabbled in Brewer posts (the Milwaukee Brewers, that is). Milwaukee does have a pro basketball team that pretty much started this group; yeah, I won't waste my time with them until next season and until they hire a quality coach (my pick is still Sir Sid). We could try topics like Roe 10 or I can't believe Rotz, but those are more quick hitters that in depth. The Office should be starting new episodes as well.
Anyway, those are my thoughts, and since we are down to just three anyway, I say lets just post what’s ever on our mind, and if it’s stupid, then Tim will point that out for us.
Peace.

The Badger season ended too abruptly. Brewers is around the corner and will entertain me. I'm not really ready to talk about work or politics, I'll save that for my 30's or maybe even my 40's. Did you guys see "300?" Thoughts? Rotz refuses to see it, he thinks it looks terrible. I was disappointed, only because I expected a top 5 of all-time movie. It was excellent but as I said I was a little disappointed, I was hoping for a little more historical context. Of course, we could always talk about...
Brett Favre
I concur the Badger season ended earlier than it should have, but with their play in the prior six games I do not think any of us are totally shocked.
ReplyDeleteI think I am in the same camp as Rotz on the movie "300", as it looks cool visually, but I don't think it would have a great storyline.
Why aren't we talking about the firing of Terry Stotts? Another terrible coach hired by Senator Herb Kohl. Until the Dairy Queen is willing to pony up for a good head coach, the Bucks will never have more than an average product on the court.
I did not even realize that the 300 was in the theater yet. I ususally don't go to the movies anymore (Rocky 6 excluded), so I will see it when its out on DVD. Based on that approach, the best movies I have seen in 2007 are the Departed and the Prestigue, probably two of my all time fav's.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I believe I briefly discussed Stotts, but do not what to give it much thought. I also agree with Tim, not politics or BS like that.
So in closing I concur: Brett Favre. I could spend a lifetime recapping my favorite Favre moments, man I hope those prized DVD's of all his games come out soon. Hopefully the bonus features will include pre-game warmup goofin off, interviews, and post game Favre antics.
Favre moment of the day: Favre gets injured during the game, but comes in for one play and throws a TD, which extends his streak. Too bad I can't remember the season that happened. Its almost like I have this memory, but it never happened.
He did that against the Giants in 2004.
ReplyDeleteHow do you work this blog thing anyways.
