Look at all the choices before we add in a bunch of junk.
Is anyone else getting an Anthony Mason vibe? We have a great core group of infielders and a 3 year window to win. I don't like the names of some of the pieces they are throwing around to complement them.

I have not been a fan of any of the rumored moves so far. I think we are in a bind since we have a young team that wants to add good established players without giving up young players.
We are not going to get something for nothing (i.e. Mench and Cappy for Willis and Caberara was likely not an option).
In a perfect world, Gywnn Jr would suddenly become good enough to lead off in the big leagues, allowing Rickie to move to the 2 hole, and Hall would then go back to hitting 35 HRs and 40 doubles and be a solid 6th or 7th hitter hitter (for some reason I like Hardy at 8) . Braun would get better at 3rd like Weeks did at second without losing the hitting, and walla, we have the best line up in the bigs.
