By my accounts, the Brewers were 16-9 on April 30th (3.5 game lead) and 30-24 (6.5 game lead) on May 31st. Based on that trend, if we continue to play .500 (or just below .500) ball the rest of the way, we should end up winning the central by 18.5 games.
My quest to attend one game per home series continued in May. I ended up at 4-1 at games attended in May to take the season tally to 6-3, with all 3 losses coming on Retro Fridays. I am 9-0 on obtaining the different Gameday programs.
My Brewers Top 5 at the end of April was:
Hardy
Cordero
Capuano
Fielder
Jenkins
My New Brewers Top 5 at the end of May is:
Fielder
Hardy
Cordero
Sheets
Jenkins
I feel the May list is pretty much the way it should be, except Sheets should be 1st.
In bean bag toss, [undisclosed party] and I are 2-3, with all three losses coming to John and Randy. I definitely feel we could have easily beat them if we could have played them after those kids. The girls were kind of a exhibition game versus a qualifying game, and the intensity just was not there. I mean, the pure jubilation we had when we defeated those kids was awesome. The running high five really showed them who was boss.

Don't make my poor bean bag record with you a public record. I would estimate lifetime I am 68-46 in bean bags. It doesn't make 3 losses to Randy/John your fault, I am just saying the sun even shine on a dog's ass somedays.
My bottom five for May.

Mench
