BCS Standings in the NFL

So I keep having to hear how great the Bears are from my ex-manager at Deloitte. He tells me that losing to a "top rated" AFC team on the road and coming behind on the road against "the Cardinals" them makes them second to the Colts? I say Tom Brady running by their best linebacker on third and long shows they still crack under pressure. I still stand by the fact that they are overrated and that their record looks good due to the poor quality of teams in the NFC.

So lets say they ranked all the NFL teams like they do in football. Where would the Bears lie?

This is how I would probably rank the top five NFL teams:
1. Indianapolis Colts
2. Baltimore Ravens
3. San Diego Chargers
4. New England Patriots
5. Chicago Bears
This is done merely by the fact three of the four teams above them have a record equal to or better than the Bears and the fourth team was able to beat them on a day they committed four turnovers. Within the NFC alone though, unfortunately I do not think there is a team that is strong enough to contend with Chicago. My predictions, the Bears go to the Super Bowl and Rex Grossman sets the record for most interceptions in one game (5), causing the Bears to lose by 14.

I think the Brocos and Chiefs are level with the Bears and the Jaguars are close behind. I put the Chargers as 2 in the AFC and Pats as 3.

To add a kicker to this, I stated that the 96/97 Packers were better at every position than the current Bears, and better than the 85 Bears excluding Payton and Singletary. I don't think that its an "outrageous" statement, which is what I was told.
